Terms and Conditions
Article 1 – Reservations
Reservations for boat cruises offered by HOUSEBOAT CAMARGUE can be made directly online, by phone, email, or by post. To confirm a reservation, the customer must complete a dedicated form and pay a deposit of EUR 150. The reservation is considered accepted once the customer receives our written confirmation. Anyone making a reservation on behalf of a group certifies that they are authorized to do so on behalf of all participants.
Article 2 – Payment terms
Payment for services must be made in euros. The balance of the total amount of the service must be paid before boarding on the day of departure.
Article 3 – Insurance
The prices indicated do not include:

personal insurance,

baggage insurance,

nor cancellation insurance.
We strongly advise our passengers to check with their insurer that their contracts cover these risks.
Article 4 – Cancellation and Modification
In the event of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, only HOUSEBOAT CAMARGUE may cancel the service. Cancellations by HOUSEBOAT CAMARGUE will entitle you to a replacement date for the chosen service.
Article 5 – Route Changes
We reserve the right to modify the itinerary, travel time, or cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, decisions by river authorities, or technical failures. Travel times are provided for informational purposes only and may vary. Services are confirmed two days before departure, based on favorable and reliable weather forecasts.
Article 6 – Responsibility and safety on board
HOUSEBOAT CAMARGUE reserves the right to refuse any reservation without providing a reason. Children on board are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians, and all minors must wear a life jacket. Smoking is prohibited on board the boat to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. We thank you for following all safety instructions provided by the skipper.
Article 7 – Risks and responsibilities
By booking a service, passengers acknowledge that they are aware of the risks associated with river navigation, including the risks of falls, slips, injuries, and loss of personal belongings. HOUSEBOAT CAMARGUE cannot be held responsible for accidents, illnesses, injuries, deaths, or loss of personal belongings. Swimming is prohibited during stopovers. The loan of swimming equipment does not constitute a supervised water activity.
Article 8 – Communication rights
As part of the services and events organized, HOUSEBOAT CAMARGUE reserves the right to distribute, reproduce or use any data relating to the event for its communication media, including the client's company name, logo, photos, videos, written or audio testimonials. The client declares to have obtained the necessary authorizations for the distribution of this data, particularly for minors, and guarantees that HOUSEBOAT CAMARGUE will not be held responsible in the event of recourse by third parties concerning the publication of such information. The mention "Organization: Houseboat Camargue" must accompany all publications relating to the event.
